[2] Research on Modern Confucianism in Japan won the third prize in the monograph category of the fourth Sun Pinghua Japanese Studies Academic Award Fund (2005).
[3] The 10-volume Study on the Process of Japanese Modernization hosted by Professor Yang Dongliang (among which History of Modern Japanese Thought was independently completed by Liu Yuebing) won the first prize of the 13th Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award in Tianjin (2013).
[4] The 6-volume View on China in Japan since Modern Times edited by Professor Yang Dongliang (the third volume of View on China in Japan since Modern Times (1840-1895) was independently completed by Liu Yuebing) was awarded the 7th Higher Education of the Ministry of Education The Second Prize of Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award (Humanities and Social Sciences) (2015).

In July 1989, graduated from the Department of Philosophy of Nankai University.
In July 2001, graduated from the Philosophy Department of the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences with a doctoral degree in philosophy.
In August 2001, served as a lecturer at the Institute of Japanese Culture, Zhejiang University.
In December 2003, served as an associate professor at the Institute of Japanese Culture, Zhejiang University.
In September 2004, served as an associate professor at the Japan Research Institute of Nankai University.
In December 2010, served as a professor at the Japan Research Institute of Nankai University.
