Guohui Dong
the director, professor, and doctoral supervisor of the Latin American Studies Center of Nankai University, the vice chairman and secretary-general of the Chinese Society for Latin American History, the deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Latin American Society, and the director of the Chinese Society for Human Rights.
In 1986, be admitted to the Faculty of History of Nankai University, majoring in world history, and received a bachelor, master and doctorate degree in history.
In 2006-07, be funded by the Sino-US Fulbright Research Scholars Program and went to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to do visiting research;
from 2017 to 2018, went to the University of California, San Diego to do visiting research. Presided over 1 National Social Science Fund project and 1 major project of the National Human Rights Education and Training Base, participated in many major projects of the National Social Science Fund, major research projects of the Ministry of Education, and key research bases of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education. The main research directions are the history of Latin America, the history of Latin American international relations, and the history of Latin American economic thought.
