Ping Wang
professor, doctoral supervisor of the Latin American Studies Center, and secretary general of the China Latin American History Research Association
graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature of Nankai University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
In 1990 and 2002, received a Master degree of History and a Doctor degree of History from Nankai University.
transferred to the Latin American Research Center at the end of 1992, and participated in the preparations for the establishment of the center.
From the end of 1999 to the beginning of 2001, be appointed by the Ministry of Education as a visiting scholar in the School of International Relations of the National University of Colombia.
The main research fields: Latin American Economic History, Latin American Economic Thought, Latin American Regional Integration, Latin American Foreign Economic Relations, Cuban Studies, etc.

Towards Open Regionalism: Latin American Integration Studies (Monograph), The Status and Prospects of Viet Nam-Cuban Socialism (co-authored); in World History, Modern International Relations, Nankai Journal, Latin American Studies, Leaders (Hong Kong), Asian Studies (Hong Kong) and other domestic, Hong Kong and Taiwan publications published Structuralism and the Development of Latin America, America Free Trade Area and Latin American Integration , Latin America Open Regionalism and China, Globalization and the Development of Latin America and more than 50 papers. Presided over and participated in 6 National Social Science Fund projects and Ministry of Education projects, mainly including: National Social Science Fund projects, national Ninth Five-Year Plan key projects, doctoral fund projects, major research projects sub-projects of the Ministry of Education, and Nankai University project 5 Project, is currently engaged in the National Social Science Fund Project: Research on the Large Real Estate System in Latin America and its Impact on the Social Economic Structure. The master's courses offered include: Spanish basics, topics on Latin American economic history, and doctoral courses offered include: Latin American integration studies, and topics on Latin American foreign economic relations.
