Xu Siwei

Born in Peixian, Jiangsu Province on February 9, 1966

received a bachelor's degree in history from Nanjing Normal University in 1988, 

received a master's degree in Japanese history from Northeast Normal University in 1993

received a doctorate in Japanese diplomatic history from Nankai University in 1998 

specializing in the history of Japanese diplomatic thought, the history of Japanese occupation, and the history of Japan-US relations.
