Yang Dongliang, male, born in February 1954, Han nationality, from Heishan County, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province.
From October 1978 to July 1982, learning in the faculty of History of Nankai University.
From July 1982 to June 1983, teaching in the faculty of Sociology of Nankai University.
From June 1983 to July 1987, teaching assistant in the Japanese History Research Office of the History Institute of Nankai University.
From July 1987 to December 1992, lecturer in the Japanese History Research Office of the History Institute of Nankai University.

Mainly engaged in the modern political and economic history of Japan, especially the history of Japanese economic policy.

Supervise many master and doctoral students. Published more than 40 papers in Chinese and Japanese academic journals. Undertake the major project of the Ministry of Education of Humanities and Social Sciences Research on Japan's Understanding of China and Action Choices in Modern Times and the major project of the base Research on the Process of Japanese Modernization.
